Please note that these are spontaneous unedited responses from clinicians whom actively use the ATM Concept and ATM2 systems in their respective clinics. None of these clinical educators received any compensation for their endorsement. (The ATM2 was formerly called the PR3000T and Pelvic Restrainer).

I use the ATM2 as a tool to gain improved stability of the pelvic ring and to use that enhanced stability to facilitate better stretching and a return to normal movement patterns. It is especially relevant in those who have trouble getting the idea of pelvic floor and transverse abdominal effort. It is also very relevant for addressing hip flexor shortening that accompanies hip OA and low back conditions. The stability offered by the ATM2 to the low back and pelvis enables very effective hip flexor lengthening. Patients are apprehensive at first, but quickly find themselves enjoying the experience and benefits.

The ATM2 approach has opened me up to the importance of the Active Straight Leg Raise, and the idea of the pelvic ring. My practice has benefited.
